well, this January, I found out that I was pregnant - SURPRISE!!! It was shock, and it was hard to cope with the idea of another kid right now, but I got used to it, and was really looking forward to that, when, I miscarried on Feb. 23rd. By my best guess, I was 10 - 12 weeks in. Hadn't had an ultrasound, or a doppler, so I never heard the heartbeat - if there was one, never saw the baby, and well... I guess that is the end of that, for now. I was out of the barn for a while but when I got back out there, my darlin' Velvet was very very kind to me. She knew someting happened, and she loved on me - odd for her, she's so dignified, and above much cuddling..... but now I just wait to get the green light to go back to living again.... Dr. appt on tues... wish me luck.
